Prof. Peter Dennis Quinn is the Schoenleber Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Pharmacology at Penn Dental Medicine, Vice Dean for Professional Services at the Perelman School of Medicine, and Senior Vice President of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. He served as Chair of OMFS/Pharmacology from 1986 to 2008. Prof. Quinn was the principal investigator of the landmark 10-year clinical trial (285 patients, 403 joints) that produced the Biomet Microfixation stock TMJ prosthesis — the only FDA-approved stock TMJ prosthesis in the United States, receiving full pre-market approval on 21 September 2005. He is Past President of the American Society of TMJ Surgeons (2009–2011) and received the AAOMS Osbon Award for Outstanding Educator (2011) and the Lindback Award. His research encompasses alloplastic TMJ reconstruction and high-flow maxillofacial vascular malformations.

Prof. Louis G. Mercuri is Visiting Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Adjunct Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, and Clinical Consultant for Stryker/TMJ Concepts. A cum laude graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry, he is a Life Member of AAOMS, retired Diplomate of the American Board of OMS, and was awarded the Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (Faculty of Dental Surgery, 2011). Prof. Mercuri received the OMS Foundation Research Recognition Award (2009), the William J. Gies Distinguished Achievement Award (2010), and is the inaugural and namesake recipient of the American Society of TMJ Surgeons' Louis G. Mercuri Lifetime Achievement Award (2020). His career-defining research in alloplastic total TMJ replacement and TMJ bioengineering has shaped the global standard for prosthetic joint reconstruction.

Prof. Larry M. Wolford practices at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, and is Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics at Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry, where he directed the OMFS Fellowship for 28 years. He holds a DMD from Temple University, completed his residency at UT Southwestern, a cleft palate fellowship in Pittsburgh, and an observership with Paul Tessier in Paris. Prof. Wolford developed the Mitek mini-anchor technique for TMJ disc repositioning, validated in outcomes studies covering 105 patients and 188 discs with a mean follow-up of 46.2 months. He has performed the most TMJ Concepts total joint prostheses of any surgeon in the United States. With over 185 scientific publications and 150 abstracts, his focus spans orthognathic, TMJ, craniofacial, and sleep apnoea surgery. He serves as IATMJ Vice-President and North America Chair.

Prof. Harry C. Schwartz is Founder and longtime Chairman of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, where he served as Regional Chief of Maxillofacial Surgery for Kaiser Permanente Southern California for more than 35 years, and Adjunct Professor of OMF Surgery at UCLA School of Dentistry. He holds both DMD and MD degrees from Harvard (MD 1975) and completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Prof. Schwartz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has authored over 100 publications and more than 500 citations, including the influential AAOMS Position Paper on Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw. His clinical focus encompasses head-and-neck reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, MRONJ management, and TMJ surgery.

Dr. Dania Tamimi, BDS, DMSc
Dr. Dania Tamimi graduated with a dental degree from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She trained at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and earned a doctorate of medical science (DMSc) and certificate of fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2005. She is board certified by the American Certifying Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ACBOMR) and is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
She is a reviewer and an Editorial Board member for Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology (OOOO), as well as a reviewer for DMFR, Oral Radiology, Head and Neck, Angle Orthodontist and AJO-DO. She is the lead author on two textbooks: “Specialty Imaging: Dental Implants” (which has been translated to Portuguese and Russian) and “Specialty Imaging: Temporomandibular Joint and Sleep-Disordered Breathing” (translated to Chinese and Spanish) and a co-lead author on “Diagnostic Imaging, Oral and Maxillofacial” (translated to Spanish). She lectures nationally and internationally.
She currently runs her oral and maxillofacial radiology private practice in Orlando, Florida.

Prof. George Anastassov is an Attending Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Mount Sinai Health System and Faculty member of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He holds an MD from the Higher Medical Institute, Sofia, and a DDS from New York University, with fellowship training at Catholic University St. Radboud Hospital and the University of Münster. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and maintains active memberships in AAOMS, EACMFS, and ACOMS. Prof. Anastassov founded an International Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation Center of Excellence at Elmhurst Hospital Center. His clinical and research interests encompass cleft and craniofacial malformations, condylar fracture management, and craniofacial reconstruction. His dual European-American training uniquely positions him within the IATMJ across both regional networks.
